Personal Passionate Professional
I am Stephen Cruickshank, owner and chief photographer of StephenC Photography. 
I live in Noordhoek, a suburb of Cape Town, South Africa with my wife and two daughters, a dog, a cat and a chicken.
I have been taking photos since 1984 and have been a professional for more than 20 years. I am passionate about making images and passionate about Cape Town and South Africa and all that this great country has to offer.
I am an internationally acclaimed photographer having shot on locations as diverse as New York, Zanzibar, Greece, Dubai, Mauritius, Paris where in June 2013 I was commissioned for a 3 week shoot to cover a training and incentive program which was the largest prolonged event ever hosted by Disneyland Europe. Since then I have also covered incentive travel and conference events in Greece, Thailand and Barcelona.
As a professional, I am always extremely focused and prepared. My years of experience allow me to anticipate what is going to happen next helping me to capture those unique moments.

I like to believe I have an unassuming, calming nature which helps bring out the best when I am photographing people and groups in all situations. I have a number of years past experience of working in the SME/corporate environment which has given me the familiarity and understanding of the demands, and time constraints, prevalent in the business world. Event photography goes far beyond just pointing a camera at a subject and I use this corporate experience to good use by offering a professional and efficient service to all clients.

I use only the best professional camera equipment and ensure I have backup equipment with me at all times. I also take great care with all images and back them up at the earliest possible time. I am well connected with a network of fellow photographers so besides equipment backup I also have people backup, and contacts, for when a second photographer or videographer is required.
